No change to the standard this week

The draft text of the Transformation Capability Management standard was reviewed for the week of 19 to 25 October 2026. Nothing in it changed. Transformation capability management is the practice of treating an organisation's ability to change as something it holds, measures and governs.

The text, the principles and the domains are as they were on 18 October

No word of the text changed. The version line still reads "v1.0, 18 October 2026".

The standard changes only when it is necessary, and this week nothing made it necessary

The standard is reviewed every week and changed "only when it is necessary". A week with no change still gets a note.

One announcement this week bears on how a standard is kept, and it changes nothing here

On 22 October 2026 Anthropic announced it is giving its Agent Skills standard to the Agentic AI Foundation, under the Linux Foundation. Anthropic first published that standard, a format for writing down a task so an agent can carry it out, in December 2025. The donation covers the standard's name and logo, its GitHub organisation and its web address. Anthropic says engineers from several companies, among them Anthropic, Google and OpenAI, will maintain it as individuals.

It is evidence of one path a standard can take: from the firm that wrote it to what Anthropic calls a neutral home, with maintainers from more than one firm.

It is one announcement, in the firm's own words. Anthropic co-founded the foundation it is giving the standard to. The announcement shows that the step was announced, not how the custody will work.

It touches no principle, domain or definition

The 10 principles and 6 domains stay as they were.

This note is dated 26 October 2026. It belongs to v1.0, 18 October 2026.

The standard's current custodian is BusinessGPS, the trading name of TechShifts Media Limited, which wrote the first draft. The aim is a committee with chairs drawn from outside BusinessGPS.
